Olney Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas is seeking a chief nursing officer to serve their facility. The candidate should possess advanced knowledge of nursing theories and practices, leadership and management abilities, and effective oral and written communication skills.
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing (master’s degree in nursing or currently enrolled in an accredited master’s program in nursing is preferred), 5 years of experience as a DON/CNO; other hospital management experience in a larger hospital setting may be acceptable. Candidate must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas and must hold a current CPR certificate.
Olney Hamilton Hospital is a 25 bed, critical access hospital operating as a hospital district. It is located approximately 130 miles northwest of Dallas, Texas, 190 miles east of Lubbock, and 100 miles northeast of Abilene. Olney Hamilton Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital providing healthcare for parts of a 3 county area of North Central Texas. The hospital has 4 full time resident physicians, several local access non-resident physicians, one nurse practitioner, and various care providers to cover family practice, obstetrics, general surgery, and emergency care. Services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, GeroPsych Program, Ambulance Service, Surgery, Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, CAT Scan, Laboratory, Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab, Level IV Trauma Center, Obstetrics, Wellness Center, Lovett-Meredith Rural Health Clinic.
Salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $80,000 - $90,000.

GENERAL LAB SUPERVISOR, MT
W.J. MANGOLD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
LOCKNEY, TEXAS
W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital, in Lockney, Texas is seeking a General Lab Supervisor to serve their facility. W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed, CAH, hospital district located in Floyd County. Lockney is located between Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Lubbock and Clovis, NM. It is approximately 20 miles east of Plainview, Texas and 90 miles south of Amarillo.
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science in a lab-related science, MT (AMT or ASCP) certification, and at least three years of lab supervisory experience. Candidate should have knowledge of CLIA requirements.
Job responsibilities would include: supervising and overseeing the hospital lab, including blood bank, and two outlying clinic labs, both of which are CLIA waived labs; assure lab meets CLIA requirements; will be a working supervisor and help with call and weekend coverage; supervise one MT, two MLTs and two lab assistants; work with medical staff to assure quality lab testing is met.
Salary range is $60,000 - $65,000 (or commensurate with experience), plus highly trained and experienced lab staff, great medical staff, a great employee health plan and 457(b) retirement plan with employer match.
